Festival Essentials

Posted on May 24, 2013

It’s finally here – I am going to a festival tomorrow! As you can probably tell I am super excited, my friends and I have been waiting for We Are FSTVL for a long time. It’s going to be a chance for us to let our hair down, dance to some brilliant music and celebrate my friend Chloe’s 21st birthday in style; flashing badges at the ready. Okay so we are cheating a bit, as this festival is only a day long, no camping required, but it is still going to be a hell of a long day, and the toilets are still going to be just as dodgy. So while I was getting all my essential bits ready, I thought I’d share with…

Karen Millen S/S13

Posted on April 18, 2013

As many of you know I work for high-end fashion retailer Karen Millen. One of the perks of the job, aside from some of the amazing friends I have made, is that I get to try on a lot of the clothes. I never thought in a million years that I would own any Karen Millen clothes, so trying them on and being paid for it is very exciting. We took some pictures the other day so I thought I would share with you some of the new collection that will be coming into store. Excuse the quality of the photos, they were taken on an iPad… Also excuse my face, it wasn’t supposed to be in the pictures. So there you go, a…

Summer Sun

Posted on March 26, 2011

As typical English folk we saw a bit of sun and that was that. Bye bye winter coats, hello sunglasses. We embrace the sun whenever we can, because lets face it, we don’t see it often. Everyone was suddenly in a good mood, and pub gardens were full to the brim at lunch times. I got into the spirit of the things by firstly painting my nails in multicoloured pastel colours by Barry M. I look like I’ve dipped my fingers in a bag of flumps. They make me smile whenever I look at them. Next I joined in with the crowds and proudly pulled out my sunnies. I have been looking for an excuse to wear my Ray Ban Wayfarers ever since I…

Sweet Swarovski

Posted on January 12, 2011

I have always been a lover of Swarovski Crystal, I love to pop into the shop from time to time and just gaze at the wonders on show. So imagine my delight when, for my 21st birthday, my gorgeous girls at Mango gave me this wonderful birthday present. This bracelet is gorgeous and delicate, words that I associate with Swarovski. The lovely pinky colour of the heart suits my girly personality and I know that every time I wear this piece of jewellery I will burst with pride. It is extremely fragile though, so I will need to be particularly careful when wearing it. I’m known for my clumsiness at work, I can trip over anything, even the air. Maybe wearing this bracelet will…

Audrey… Eat your heart out!

Posted on January 4, 2011

Ok, so this isn’t the best quality picture, shame on me, and I do look slightly, well, very vain. But I don’t care… I love it! Audrey Hepburn is not just one of my style icons, she is everything I believe a woman should be. Feminine yet fierce, classy and chic, bold but beautiful. So I thought it was about time to attempt to re-create her look. It’s not perfect, I wouldn’t suggest for a second that it is, but I love this Zara dress, and for once my hair did what it was supposed to. So thank you Audrey for blessing me with this perfect style… Oh and eat your heart out!

My A/W Must Haves!

Posted on September 23, 2010

Firstly, I must apologise for not posting ANYTHING on London Fashion Week. My poor excuse is that I have been ill with excruciating stomach pains. The Doc says I have IBS, so a diet change is in order. Secondly, ohmylife Charlotte got booted off BNTM. What is going on? Proper gutted right now. Anyway this is just a quick post to let you all know what my season must haves are. Enjoy x 1.Chunky Knitted Cardigan 2. Tan Trousers 3. Basic White Shirt 4. Lace Up Boots 5. Cape Obviously there is more that I want, I am addicted to shopping and clothes, however these five pieces are the basics needed for my A/W capsule wardrobe, and are as a good a place as…
